Senior Java Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, deploy, monitor, and sustain all stages of the software development lifecycle within our service-oriented platform, which currently features over 300 restful microservices.

• Leverage your hands-on experience, innovative thinking, and proactive mindset to tackle complex challenges.

• Elevate standards and drive technological advancements to ensure AUTO1 remains at the forefront of the industry.

• Set an example and provide mentorship to colleagues, encouraging them to push limits and achieve excellence.

• Collaborate with various engineering and product teams, as well as stakeholders, to uphold our high business standards while exploring additional technologies and areas of software development.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in Java programming, particularly with Spring-based technologies.

• Strong understanding of the JVM and substantial experience in creating robust and scalable RESTful APIs and GraphQL services.

• Practical experience with Spring Boot, PostgreSQL, Terraform, and AWS services.

• A solid technical foundation with a thorough understanding of computer science principles, data structures, algorithms, and distributed systems.

• A curious mindset and the ability to rapidly learn and adapt to new and unfamiliar technologies, frameworks, and paradigms.

• Experience in developing APIs for mobile applications is a plus.

• Proficient communication skills in English.
