Senior Java Developer, Microservices

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Analyze issues through logs, debugging, and code examination to ensure precise diagnosis.

• Track and communicate the status of actions until all incidents are completely resolved.

• Engage with other teams as needed to foster agility and collaboration.

• Design permanent solutions to eradicate recurring failure causes.

• Validate and test technical deliverables prior to production deployment.

• Implement RDM (Request for Deployment Management) procedures, including during non-business hours.

• Develop and uphold technical and operational documentation for both client and internal use.

• Create and enhance services and dashboards to guarantee high availability and optimal system performance.

• Strategically contribute to the development, maintenance, and evolution of digital solutions.

• Conduct monitoring, support, continuous improvement, and the development of new solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.

• Significant experience with enterprise applications and service-oriented architectures (SOA).

• Expertise in Java Spring Boot and Java EE.

• Strong knowledge of object-oriented design principles and development patterns.

• Analytical mindset and excellent communication skills.

• Advanced technical skills for monitoring, support, continuous improvement, and solution development.

• Ability to self-manage, demonstrate proactivity, and make sound decisions.

• Logical, structured, and analytical approach to problem-solving.

• Capability to convey technical topics to diverse audiences.

• Strong attention to detail, teamwork, resilience, and commitment.

• Proficiency in Java.

• Robust experience in developing scalable and reliable applications.

• Experience with Java Spring Boot.

• In-depth knowledge of Java EE.

• Familiarity with SOA and microservices architecture.

• Experience in developing REST APIs, inter-service communication, scalability, resilience, and decoupling.

• Knowledge of relational and non-relational databases.

• Proficient in using Hibernate and JPA.

• Experience with version control systems like Git.

• Demonstrated ability to implement unit and integration tests.
