Senior Java Developer – Financial Services

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design and enhance scalable, robust Java applications

• Convert business needs into effective technical solutions

• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams across the globe

• Ensure adherence to development best practices and maintain code quality

• Conduct code reviews and assist in the growth of junior professionals

• Engage in incident resolution and optimize application performance

• Participate throughout the full software development lifecycle (SDLC)

• Keep abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related disciplines

• Proficient in English (C2 level)

• Significant experience in Java web development

• Strong knowledge of Java, Spring, and Hibernate frameworks

• Familiarity with REST/SOAP APIs and microservices architecture

• In-depth understanding of relational databases (Oracle, MySQL) and SQL

• Experience in developing enterprise-level applications

• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities

• Background in code review and technical mentoring

• Bonus: Experience in financial services, especially in Wealth & Asset Management; Knowledge of GenAI
