Senior Java Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Develop ingestion engines for the real-time processing of data streams.

• Create user interfaces for data configuration and mapping; monitor these pipelines using smart dashboards.

• Enhance and optimize data architecture and pipeline structures.

• Streamline data flow and collection for cross-functional teams.

• Engage in program design, development, and code management activities.

• Construct analytics tools that leverage the data pipeline to deliver actionable insights.

• Collaborate with stakeholders, including Executive, Product, Data, and Design teams.

• Discover methods to enhance data reliability, efficiency, and quality.

• Ensure data is accessible and available to the appropriate parties.

• Confirm that data pipelines comply with data governance standards.

• Operate in a dynamic, fast-paced agile environment.

• Develop and establish CI/CD pipelines for both development and deployment processes.

• Lead or contribute to code reviews and automated testing initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of direct experience in Java programming within AWS.

• Proven experience in constructing data stream processing using ingestion engines and data pipelines.

• Ability to work independently as a contributor.

• Capability to operate under minimal supervision.

• Responsible for delivering high-quality data results.

• Proficient in Java 8+ in AWS.

• Experience with Spring Boot.

• Familiarity with Hibernate.

• Knowledge of microservices architecture.

• Experience with REST APIs.

• Proficient in AWS RDS Postgres.

• Advanced SQL skills.

• Experience with Kafka.

• Familiarity with CI/CD processes using Jenkins or Bamboo.

• Experience with AWS Aurora Managed RDS Postgres DB.

• Knowledge of MongoDB.

• Proficient in Docker.

• Experience with GitHub, Git, or other modern version control systems.
