Senior Java Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Create and uphold microservices utilizing Java 17+ and the Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring Data)

• Design and develop efficient, well-documented REST APIs

• Collaborate with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, DynamoDB)

• Write unit and integration tests utilizing JUnit and Mockito

• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions)

• Monitor applications using tools such as Grafana, Kibana, or Dynatrace

• Ensure scalability of solutions through Docker and Kubernetes

• Work collaboratively within a team following agile methodologies (Scrum)

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience with Java 17+

• In-depth knowledge of the Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring Data)

• Experience in developing microservices

• Strong understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases

• Experience with automated testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito)

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines

• Knowledge of application monitoring tools (Grafana, Kibana, Dynatrace)

• Basic understanding of Docker and Kubernetes

• Fundamental knowledge of AWS services (S3, SQS)

• Experience with Kafka or other messaging systems (Preferred)

• Knowledge of React or TypeScript (Preferred)

• AWS or Java certifications (Preferred)

• Experience with Terraform for infrastructure as code (Preferred)

• Understanding of serverless architecture (AWS Lambda) (Preferred)
