Senior Java Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Bulgaria.

📋 Description

• Create new features and capabilities for high-traffic, large-scale websites and services utilizing Java.

• Engage actively in the design, implementation, and review of full stack end-to-end solutions.

• Develop modular, scalable, and portable solutions to fulfill project specifications.

• Produce clean, readable, and reusable code within set deadlines by adhering to agile methodologies.

• Effectively organize and prioritize tasks to guarantee timely project completion.

• Create and uphold testable code.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated history of successfully completed projects, with experience in Enterprise Java Software Development in service-oriented or microservice architectures.

• Proficient in Java with over 6 years of experience in back-end programming and related frameworks (Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate).

• Proven expertise in designing, developing, and maintaining RESTful APIs.

• Experience with Relational Databases such as PostgreSQL.

• Familiarity with message queue systems like RabbitMQ, Kafka, or similar.

• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS is a plus.

• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, including Jenkins/Bamboo and GitLab.

• Experience in reactive programming using Vert.x or similar is advantageous.

• Proficient in Version Control Systems, especially Bitbucket and GIT.

• Hands-on knowledge and application of containers, particularly Docker, ideally alongside Kubernetes expertise.

• Strong problem-solving abilities and capacity to collaborate effectively within a team, while also working independently.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or relevant professional experience.

• Excellent communication skills in both English and Bulgarian, with the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly.
