Senior Java Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Implement software components in alignment with design specifications.

• Conduct system integration and testing, as well as troubleshoot and resolve issues.

• Execute unit testing for software components.

• Engage in project effort estimation and timeline delivery.

• Actively collaborate with team members and communicate with Project Stakeholders to ensure efficient and predictable project progress.

• Contribute technical insights to product roadmaps.

• Take part in triage activities, including incident analysis and prioritization.

• Assist in optimizing CI/CD processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of experience in Java development.

• Extensive experience with the Spring Framework and Quarkus.

• Familiarity with microservices architecture and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).

• Experience with relational databases, specifically PostgreSQL or other RDBMS.

• Proficient in REST/SOAP integrations and messaging systems (Kafka, ActiveMQ).

• Solid understanding of testing principles.

• Ability to communicate effectively in English.

• Strong skills in communication and collaboration with stakeholders and distributed teams.

• Preferred: Experience in Angular front-end development.

• Proficiency in German or Swiss German is a plus.
