Senior Java Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Oversee the complete design and development process of intricate software applications, ensuring alignment with project requirements and business goals.

• Design and implement scalable, maintainable, and high-performance solutions that comply with coding standards and best practices.

• Work closely with product managers, technical leads, and other stakeholders to establish technical specifications and project milestones.

• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior developers, conducting code reviews and offering constructive feedback to enhance their skills and understanding.

• Remain updated on emerging technologies and industry trends, promoting the incorporation of new tools and best practices.

• Perform comprehensive testing and debugging of software applications to ensure the delivery of high-quality, defect-free products.

• Facilitate technical discussions and brainstorming sessions, offering valuable insights and suggesting innovative solutions.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical challenges and contribute to the ongoing enhancement of development processes.

• Actively identify opportunities for process optimization and automation to boost team productivity.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Over 5 years of professional experience in software development, with a strong emphasis on backend and/or full-stack development.

• Proficient in Java and Python programming languages.

• Experience with web frameworks such as Spring/Hibernate (Java).

• Comprehensive understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.

• Extensive knowledge of software development methodologies, agile practices, and design patterns.

• Experience with database systems (both SQL and NoSQL).

• Familiarity with front-end technologies (JavaScript, HTML, CSS).

• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools is an advantage.

• Proven history of successfully delivering projects and leading development initiatives.

• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities, capable of tackling complex technical challenges.
