Senior Java Developer, AI

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design and develop solutions leveraging large language models (LLMs), multi-agent systems, and intelligent automation, ensuring compliance with security, legal standards, and scalability needs of the institution.

• Create interfaces and integration layers between AI solutions and current institutional systems, which include Java applications, both relational and non-relational databases, and internal APIs.

• Discover automation possibilities within manual and repetitive workflows, suggesting and executing solutions that yield measurable improvements in efficiency and quality of delivery.

• Stay updated on the latest advancements in applied AI — including agent frameworks, RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation), fine-tuning, and local inference — evaluating their feasibility and potential for institutional implementation.

• Write clean, testable, and well-documented code while adhering to security best practices in software development (DevSecOps), which encompass access control, protection of sensitive information, and tracking of automated decisions.

• Develop and maintain architecture documentation, API documentation, integration flow diagrams, and user manuals, ensuring effective knowledge transfer and the long-term viability of the solutions created.

• Guide junior and mid-level professionals, engage in code reviews, help establish technical standards, and assist with critical architectural decisions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Expertise in Python for crafting AI applications, automation, and systems integration.

• Experience with AI agent orchestration frameworks (such as CrewAI, LangChain, AutoGen, or similar).

• In-depth understanding of large language models (LLMs) and their integration through APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, open-source models).

• Familiarity with relational databases (PostgreSQL, Oracle) and non-relational databases (MongoDB, Redis).

• Proficient in using Git and collaborative version control techniques.

• Knowledge of containerization (Docker) and cloud platforms (AWS or Azure).

• Capability to read and write technical English proficiently.
