Senior Java Backend Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Morocco.

• In your role, you will collaborate within an Agile, cooperative setting, taking responsibility for the technical elements of development and creating high-quality software systems.

• You will leverage your expertise in Kotlin or Java (if you are eager to work with Kotlin) to design and implement resilient and scalable backend solutions.

• You will engage in the entire software development lifecycle, from gathering requirements to design, coding, testing, and deployment.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of practical experience in software development, focusing on Java backend.

• Comprehensive understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns.

• Demonstrated expertise with Terraform.

• Strong background in unit testing, integration testing, and test-driven development (TDD, Shift-Left).

• Proficiency in Git and CI/CD pipelines.

• Experience with Kafka and distributed systems.

• Solid working knowledge of Kubernetes.

• Expertise in GraphQL Federation.

• Proficient in Azure Cloud environments.

• Outstanding problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

• Fluent in English.

• Nice to have:

• Experience with Spring Boot and other backend frameworks.

• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
