Senior Java Backend Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Accountable for the development of the platform's backend, concentrating on billing, subscriptions, checkout, dependents, profiles, authentication, integrations, and transactional regulations.

• Create Java backend APIs and services for plans, offers, checkout, subscriptions, billing, dependents, and authenticated user segments.

• Execute integrations with payment gateways, financial webhooks, recurring billing, retry mechanisms, delinquency management, and subscription terminations.

• Establish business rules concerning subscription status, benefit restrictions, payment history, eligibility, and hierarchical scope.

• Implement authentication protocols, first-time access, profile-based authorization, and permission management by partner, company, and beneficiary.

• Develop integration components with NAV, notification services, caching, auditing, and other necessary systems.

• Employ best practices for unit testing, error management, logging, API version control, and technical documentation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient experience in Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, JPA/Hibernate, and relational databases.

• Experience in developing transactional systems, integrations, business rules, and asynchronous processing.

• Understanding of authentication, authorization, security, error management, and observability.

• Familiarity with unit testing, version control, code reviews, and engineering best practices.

• Capacity to operate in environments with external integrations, technical dependencies, and progressive product development.
