Senior Java Backend Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Italy.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with an agile, cross-functional team, working closely with the product owner to define products and strategies.

• Design application architectures and create technical solutions for the services provided.

• Collaborate with fellow software engineers in a supportive and cooperative environment.

• Ensure compliance with best practices, coding standards, and security requirements.

• Promote continuous improvement in development processes and technologies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of practical experience in software development, particularly in Java programming.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields, or equivalent experience.

• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles (OOP, OOD, SOLID), algorithms, data structures, and design patterns.

• Proven experience working with Java frameworks, particularly Spring.

• Demonstrated capability to implement and execute various automated testing strategies.

• Familiarity with relational database concepts and interactions (SQL, RDBMS).

• Experience with high availability solutions and a good understanding of SaaS/PaaS models.

• Proficiency in written and spoken Italian, with the ability to read and communicate in English.
