Senior Java and Node.js Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Provide technical guidance for the development and advancement of microservices and APIs

• Assist in making architectural choices (event-driven, DDD, decoupling)

• Engage in refactoring legacy systems with an emphasis on scalability

• Define and implement integration patterns (REST and messaging)

• Ensure the technical quality (best practices, tests, code reviews)

• Lead the migration and optimization of services in cloud environments

• Support the team in addressing complex challenges

• Communicate effectively with clients in a clear and confident manner

• Take the initiative to tackle daily team issues

• Participate in ceremonies with our clients

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience with Java 11+ (preferably 17+)

• Proficient knowledge and experience with Node.js (Express, Nest)

• Experience in microservices architecture within distributed environments

• Proven experience designing and developing RESTful APIs (high-volume, low-latency)

• Familiarity with relational (Oracle/SQL) and non-relational (Mongo) databases

• Experience with both synchronous (HTTP) and asynchronous (messaging/events) communication

• Proficient in messaging systems (RabbitMQ, Kafka, or similar)

• Experience with event-driven architecture (EDA)

• Familiarity with resilience and scalability patterns (circuit breaker, retry, timeout, caching)

• Knowledge of Docker and containerization

• Experience with Kubernetes/OpenShift

• Proficient in unit testing (JUnit 5)

• Experience with version control (Git)

• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure)

• Knowledge of development best practices, including SOLID, Design Patterns, Clean Code, and MFE
