Senior IT/GRC SOC 2 Auditor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ecuador.

📋 Description

• Oversee ITGC and application control testing initiatives

• Mentor and evaluate the work of junior team members

• Conduct walkthroughs, testing, and documentation for SOC 2, SOC 1, and HIPAA projects

• Detect control deficiencies and suggest remediation strategies

• Foster strong client relationships through effective and proactive communication

• Provide timely progress reports and escalate issues to management when necessary

⛳️ Requirements

• 3–4 years of experience in conducting IT audits, specifically in ITGC and application controls

• In-depth knowledge of SOC 2 and associated frameworks

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, MIS, Cybersecurity, or a similar field

• Exceptional client communication and project management abilities

• Proficiency in English is mandatory

• Experience with GRC tools (e.g., Vanta, Drata, Secureframe) is a plus

• Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP is a plus

• Progress toward certifications such as CISA, CPA, CISSP, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor is a plus
