Senior IT Technical Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Create, develop, and sustain RESTful web services and contemporary single-page applications.

• Build scalable microservices on AWS that facilitate LIMS workflows.

• Produce clean, thoroughly tested code adhering to TDD methodologies.

• Engage in code and design reviews, providing and receiving constructive feedback.

• Collaborate closely with product teams, QA, and fellow engineers within an Agile/Scrum environment.

• Contribute to the enhancement of coding standards, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps automation.

• Diagnose and resolve issues across the stack, supporting applications throughout their entire lifecycle.

• Clearly communicate progress, trade-offs, and technical decisions to the team.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Technology.

• At least 5 years of software engineering experience with increasing levels of responsibility.

• Proficient hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, JPA/Hibernate, and Maven.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in building applications on AWS (Lambda, ECS, EC2, SQS, API Gateway) or equivalent platforms in Azure/GCP.

• Experience in designing and managing SQL databases (PostgreSQL, Oracle).

• Knowledge of REST APIs and microservices architecture.

• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Git, Maven/Gradle, SonarQube, and Jira.

• Working knowledge of application security (OAuth 2.0 / OpenID Connect, Spring Security).

• Experience in Agile/Scrum team environments.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities.
