This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Define and implement the strategic roadmap for enterprise infrastructure, cloud platforms, systems operations, and service reliability in accordance with company goals.
• Lead, mentor, and nurture a team of engineers, promoting a culture of accountability, inclusivity, innovation, and continuous learning.
• Enhance organizational capability through succession planning, talent development, workforce planning, and scalable operational processes.
• Establish and track essential operational metrics, service level objectives (SLOs), and performance indicators to facilitate measurable enhancements in reliability, efficiency, and user experience.
• Influence executive stakeholders and technology leaders by presenting data-driven recommendations regarding infrastructure investments, risk management, and operational priorities.
• Provide technical guidance for the design, evolution, and governance of enterprise infrastructure, hybrid and multi-cloud environments, networking, identity systems, and operational tools.
• Drive architectural decisions that enhance scalability, resilience, security, and operational efficiency across enterprise services.
• Advocate for automation-first strategies that minimize operational overhead, boost service delivery, and improve system reliability.
• Collaborate with Security and Engineering leaders to ensure enterprise systems comply with organizational security, compliance, and governance standards.
• Act as an escalation point for critical incidents, steering resolution efforts and conducting root cause analysis along with long-term corrective actions.
• Take ownership of the availability, reliability, and performance of enterprise-wide services and infrastructure, ensuring operational readiness and business continuity.
• Guide the advancement of monitoring, observability, incident management, change management, and problem management practices.
• Establish scalable operational frameworks that accommodate a growing, distributed workforce and an evolving technological landscape.
• Propel continuous improvement initiatives through process optimization, knowledge management, automation, and operational analytics.
• Institutionalize contemporary engineering and IT practices, including Agile methodologies, infrastructure-as-code, peer review, documentation standards, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Partner with leaders from Engineering, Security, Finance, Legal, People Operations, and Workplace Services to align technology capabilities with business priorities.
• Manage vendor relationships, strategic technology partnerships, and service providers to maximize value and operational efficiency.
• Oversee large-scale infrastructure and transformation projects from planning to execution, ensuring successful adoption and quantifiable business results.
• Over 10 years of progressive experience in systems engineering, infrastructure operations, cloud technologies, or related fields.
• More than 5 years of experience in leading and developing high-performing technical teams, including managing managers and senior technical contributors.
• Proven track record of defining and executing technology strategies for complex enterprise environments.
• Extensive expertise in Linux/Unix systems administration, automation, cloud platforms, networking, observability, and modern infrastructure architectures.
• Experience in leading large-scale operational initiatives, infrastructure transformations, and enterprise technology modernization projects.
• Strong business insight with the ability to align technical decisions with organizational objectives and financial considerations.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and executive presentation abilities.
