This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• The Senior IT Systems Administrator is tasked with the advanced administration, configuration, security, performance, report management/analytics, and optimization of both enterprise financial and non-clinical applications.
• This position serves as a technical leader and trusted advisor to Finance, Operations, and IT executives, ensuring that financial and non-clinical systems are secure, dependable, compliant, and aligned with business objectives.
• Provide expertise in new system design, functional requirements, and workflows that support the system implementation process.
• Administer, configure, and support enterprise financial systems, including ERP, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting platforms.
• Oversee system environments (production, test, development), as well as manage upgrades, patches, and release cycles.
• Collaborate with operations and finance teams to develop workflow/system optimization plans that ensure ongoing automation of workflows and enhancement of system maturity.
• Monitor system performance, availability, and integrations, and troubleshoot complex system issues as they arise.
• Work closely with financial staff and leaders to define detailed reporting and analytics requirements that support organizational and departmental financial reporting and analysis.
• Security, Controls & Compliance: Design and maintain role-based security, user provisioning, and access controls; ensure adherence to SOX, internal controls, audit standards, and organizational policies; assist with internal and external audits by providing system documentation and access evidence.
• Integrations & Enhancements: Lead integrations between financial, ERP, and non-clinical systems as well as upstream and downstream applications; collaborate with vendors and internal IT teams on system enhancements, new modules, and implementations; spearhead system testing, validation, and change management efforts.
• Data Integrity & Reporting Support: Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and reconciliation of system data across various platforms; assist Finance with reporting, analytics, data extracts, and troubleshooting; identify and rectify root causes of data and interface issues.
• Leadership & Process Improvement: Act as a technical subject matter expert and escalation point; mentor junior administrators and establish best practices for system administration; collaborate with financial staff and leaders to identify and implement process improvements that enhance automation and efficiency.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in administering enterprise financial or ERP systems.
• Exceptional troubleshooting and analytical abilities.
• Strong skills in communication and cross-functional collaboration.
• High attention to detail and a commitment to system reliability.
• Capability to manage multiple complex initiatives concurrently.
• Significant hands-on experience with platforms like MS Dynamics, SAP, Oracle, Workday, PeopleSoft, or similar.
• Advanced understanding of system security, access controls, and financial application architecture.
• Familiarity with SOX, internal controls, and audit requirements.
• Experience with SQL, reporting tools (such as MS Power BI, SPSS, Crystal Reports, etc.), integrations, APIs, or middleware tools.
• Relevant certifications including Dynamics 365 Business Central and MS Power BI.
• Experience in cloud security.
