This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Assist in daily IT operations, including user onboarding and off-boarding, hardware provisioning, addressing troubleshooting tickets, and providing end-user support.
• Aid in managing our fleet of macOS laptops, including MDM enrollment, configuration, software deployment, and compliance standards.
• Diagnose connectivity, hardware, software, and authentication problems across Mac, Linux, and Windows platforms.
• Create documentation for fixes, runbooks, and FAQs to enhance team scalability.
• Support Okta administration tasks such as user lifecycle management, group management, SSO/MFA setup, application assignments, and access reviews.
• Conduct periodic access reviews and gather audit evidence.
• Assist with ZScaler operations, including policy reviews, bypass requests, log analysis, and user troubleshooting.
• Help uphold DLP policies and manage alerts regarding potential data exfiltration.
• Participate in WAF rule reviews, false-positive tuning, and traffic analysis (AWS WAFv2 / Akamai).
• Support SIEM operations using Splunk/Wazuh by querying logs, creating dashboards, and adjusting alerts.
• Develop and maintain scripts to automate repetitive IT/Security tasks such as log analysis, evidence collection, ticket enrichment, account hygiene, and reporting.
• Create small tools to enhance team efficiency (full-stack development skills are not necessary).
• Engage with and utilize AI/agentic workflows developed by the team (MCP servers, Claude-based runbooks) to speed up investigations.
• A Bachelor's Degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Assurance, IT Management, or a closely related field.
• Proficiency in scripting is essential; you should be capable of writing functional scripts in at least one of the following languages: Bash, Python, or PowerShell. You do not need to be a software developer, but you should be comfortable automating tasks with code.
• Familiarity with the Linux command line, including file system navigation, permissions, process management, and log inspection tools (grep, awk, sed, tail, journalctl).
• Comfort with using macOS as a primary operating system and performing basic troubleshooting on Mac devices.
• Strong foundational knowledge in IT troubleshooting, networking fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, VPN, TLS), authentication processes (SAML, OAuth, MFA), and hardware/software support.
• Experience using Git, GitHub, and the terminal.
• An active engagement with trends in IT, cybersecurity, and AI, coupled with a keen interest in experimenting with new tools.
• Exceptional written communication skills, enabling you to document your actions for others to utilize.
• Residency in the U.S. is required.
