Senior IT Support Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the technical architecture for IT Tooling automations, guiding design choices related to system structure, integration patterns, and tooling involving n8n, Airflow, Temporal, and Jira.

• Set architecture standards and implement code review practices that elevate the overall engineering quality of the team.

• Serve as the technical Directly Responsible Individual (DRI) for the most intricate and impactful automation projects, overseeing them from discovery and design to production delivery.

• Collaborate with Security, Corporate Engineering, and IAM to address technical challenges and represent the team in cross-functional architectural discussions.

• Develop shared frameworks and reusable components to minimize single points of failure throughout the platform.

• Create architecture documentation and decision records that empower the team to scale with minimal reliance on any individual.

• Manage your workload independently, transforming loosely defined problems into production-ready technical specifications.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in IT engineering, automation, or systems engineering, with proven ownership of architectural decisions, engineering standards, or platform-level systems that others utilize.

• Extensive expertise in creating and maintaining complex automations using n8n, Airflow, Temporal, Jira Automation, or Workato, along with robust Git-based development practices including branching, CI/CD, and code review.

• Familiarity with Okta, Slack API, and Google Workspace administration sufficient for designing secure and scalable automation architecture.

• Capability to function in ambiguous settings and convert loosely defined problems into production-ready technical specifications.

• Employs generative AI responsibly, ensuring human oversight to produce business-ready outputs and drive measurable enhancements in workflow efficiency, cost, and quality.
