Senior IT Platform Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Act as the technical expert responsible for the administration of Microsoft environments and collaborative platforms, including Microsoft 365, Azure, Entra ID (Azure AD), Intune, Active Directory, ADFS, Exchange, Endpoint Configuration Manager, and Windows Server.

• Oversee, maintain, and advance Windows Client, macOS, and Linux operating systems, along with Android and iOS mobile devices.

• Create and enhance integrations, automations, and pipelines with systems that are external to the IT Platform.

• Deliver a standardized, production-ready platform that accelerates the deployment of solutions while adhering to technical, architectural, and security standards.

• Automate workflows to enhance operational efficiency and improve incident/ticket management.

• Manage the capacity, scalability, and configuration of the infrastructure to guarantee performance, availability, and sustainable growth.

• Track technology metrics and indicators to recognize trends, challenges, and opportunities for continuous improvement.

• Establish and refine technical guidelines, roadmaps, and strategies, including initiatives related to Artificial Intelligence, in alignment with business requirements.

• Maintain a strong emphasis on information security, data governance, and algorithmic accountability, ensuring compliance and protection from internal and external threats.

• Execute diagnostics, technical evaluations, and architectural analyses, suggesting enhancements and advancements to existing solutions.

• Foster communication between technical teams, product areas, and executive stakeholders, translating strategic needs into impactful solutions.

• Prepare presentations, technical documents, and supplementary content for stakeholder alignment meetings.

• Share expertise and best practices related to infrastructure, operations, automation, APIs, microservices, and AI frameworks with chapter and product teams.

• Engage in technical discussions to guarantee scalability, sustainability, and quality of solutions.

• Manage IT assets, ensuring accurate control and updates of hardware and software inventories.

• Supervise hardware approval and testing processes to ensure compliance with corporate standards.

• Assist in the planning and execution of infrastructure and technology modernization projects.

• Produce and keep up-to-date technical documentation for services under your purview.

• Provide second-level support as needed, in coordination with the technical support team.

• Act proactively, communicate clearly, and make collaborative decisions, considering the impact of solutions across the organization.


⛳️ Requirements

• Completed or in-progress specialization or MBA in Information Technology or related fields.

• Proficiency with Microsoft 365, Azure / Entra ID, Active Directory, ADFS, Exchange, Endpoint Configuration Manager, Intune, and Windows Server.

• Experience with Windows Client, macOS, and Linux operating systems.

• Background in supporting and managing Microsoft environments and collaborative platforms.

• Familiarity with automation and orchestration tools such as Ansible, Rundeck, Azure Automation, UiPath, or similar.

• Experience in IT Service Management (ITIL Foundation).

• Knowledge of Agile and Lean methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.

• Relevant Microsoft certifications.

• Understanding of information security best practices and essential security technologies.

• Knowledge of FinOps is a plus.
