Senior IT Operations Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Standardization and automation of essential IT operations processes within a cloud-exclusive environment (M365, Azure, Intune/UEM)

• Planning, implementing, and managing intricate M365/Azure configurations (security, RBAC, MFA, IdP, access reviews)

• Managing incidents, problems, and changes in accordance with ITIL

• Addressing security incidents associated with EDR and M365 Defender

• Conducting thorough analyses of complex incidents, along with documentation and knowledge transfer

⛳️ Requirements

• Several years of experience in IT operations within intricate system environments

• Strong expertise in Microsoft 365 and Azure, encompassing complex configurations

• Demonstrated experience with ITIL-based processes and sustainable incident analysis

• Experience in IT security operations (e.g., EDR, Defender, compliance)

• Skills in automation (scripting, workflows, M365 automation) or initial exposure to AI-assisted tools

• Business-fluent German (C1) and fluent English (B2)
