Senior IT Internal Auditor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Support the creation of risk assessments, evaluate risks, and suggest focus areas for targeted audit procedures and comprehensive internal audits.

• Formulate the scope and detailed plans for audits, Sarbanes-Oxley assessments, and other complex projects to evaluate the design and efficiency of financial, operational, and compliance processes.

• Aid management in finalizing responses to management queries.

• Keep precise, up-to-date records of audit plans, findings, workpapers, reports, and other supporting documents related to audits conducted.

• Examine, identify, and document internal financial and operational control systems through interviews, documentation, questionnaires, policies, transaction testing, and analytics, focusing on more intricate areas within the business while collaborating with senior management members.

• Exhibit project management capabilities and lead small to medium-sized projects from initiation to completion.

• Demonstrate the ability to work independently in SOX and audit engagements by performing planning, testing, and reporting tasks and procedures.

• Assist in drafting audit reports that encompass key findings and management suggestions.

• Support management in preparing responses to audit findings.

• Assist the IA Supervisor/Manager in coordinating with external auditors to ensure the timely delivery of SOX project outcomes.

• Contribute to AI process initiatives aimed at enhancing automation, analytics, and AI-enabled business solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience.

• Experience with Big 4 audit firms is advantageous.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification.

• Certification: CISA preferred (active pursuit of the license is required if not already certified).

• Proven working knowledge of Microsoft Azure AI Foundry, Microsoft Copilot Studio, Microsoft Power Apps, Microsoft Power Automate, and Microsoft Power BI, with the capability to utilize these tools to support automation, analytics, and AI-enabled business solutions.
