• Develop, sustain, and enforce an authorized IT governance framework that aligns technology initiatives with business objectives.
• Ensure adherence to regulations while managing IT-related risks.
• Serve as a liaison between IT operations and executive management.
• Lead efforts to enhance and align IT governance structures, offering expert advice on strategy, process design, and regulatory documentation.
• Supervise assessments to pinpoint areas for improvement, streamline cross-board operations, and integrate change management practices.
• Deliver solutions for compliance and records management, facilitate decision-making forums, and empower teams through training and knowledge transfer activities.
• Support the transformation and operational aspects of IT Governance.
• Collaborate with the IT Governance Team to refine and enhance the IT Governance Board (ITGB) strategy, processes, and activities.
• Update and align change request processes and procedures with overarching IT Governance.
• Assist in redesigning the Architecture Review Board (ARB) and implementing automation solutions.
• Revise DMCC processes in line with the new IT governance framework.
• Aid the agency in identifying AI use cases and overseeing the development of AI packages.
• Explore emerging AI use case archetypes and establish procedures aligned with agency policies to evaluate compliance with strategic goals.
• Coordinate architecture, strategic assessment, and project activities in compliance with the IT Governance Boards.
• Monitor, analyze, and interpret various laws, regulations, and policies affecting the agency.
• Identify requirements and amend MOUs as necessary; establish and implement procedures to ensure ongoing MOU compliance.
• Bachelor's degree in a field related to information technology, plus ten (10) years of professional IT experience.
• Eligible candidates include U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents (Green Card holders), and individuals holding H1B visas.
• Must be able to successfully complete, pass, and maintain a public trust investigation.
• High proficiency in understanding and applying industry standards and best practice theories, principles, practices, and methodologies in data governance and data management.
• Exceptional analytical skills, attention to detail, and strong problem-solving capabilities.
• Over 10 years of experience in data governance, data analysis, and data management, preferably within a large enterprise context.
• Experience in practicing or facilitating stewardship in data governance and data management technical platforms related to activities such as data cataloging, business glossary development, lineage, stewardship engagement, and metadata enrichment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to translate technical information and manage stakeholder relationships.
