Midlevel Risk Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Provide operational leadership for specialized teams.

• Serve as the initial point of contact for inquiries related to subject matter and organizational issues.

• Assist with immediate challenges such as staff absences, overload situations, and escalate when necessary.

• Engage in HR processes, including recruitment.

• Conduct personnel interviews and facilitate staff meetings.

• Head the Child Welfare team.

• Oversee chat interactions within the Child Welfare team following each chat engagement.

• Create and continuously refine counseling strategies.

• Participate in weekly team meetings and intervision (peer supervision) sessions.

• Organize and lead case reviews for volunteers and interns.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be a state-recognized social worker or hold a Master’s degree in Psychology.

• Experience in counseling children and adolescents, particularly in the areas of child welfare endangerment, sexualized violence, and suicidality.

• Preferred: qualification as an Insoweit erfahrene Fachkraft (qualified specialist in child protection).

• Initial experience in leadership is desirable.

• Ability to work comfortably in hybrid or remote environments.

• Strong linguistic sensitivity and an exceptional understanding of the needs of our target demographic.
