This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• We are seeking a knowledgeable Business Risk Consultant to become part of a high-achieving compliance consultancy team that supports financial advice and investment management firms throughout the UK.
• Role Overview: This position is client-facing and advisory in nature, where you will collaborate with firms to evaluate and enhance their regulatory frameworks—ensuring they achieve commercial success while maintaining strong compliance.

• Essential requirements:
• A minimum of 5 years of successful experience providing consultancy services to the intermediary community.
• Level 4 Diploma in Financial Services with the ambition to achieve Level 6 and other risk-related qualifications (fully supported by the organization).
• Experience working with vertically integrated firms, including knowledge of the regulatory requirements applicable to MIFIDPRU firms, covering both prudential and conduct of business criteria.
• A solid understanding of the business strategies of vertically integrated firms.
• Capability to manage and deliver a diverse and busy workload.
• In-depth knowledge of the regulatory framework.
• Understanding of the operational dynamics of investment management/adviser firms.
• Awareness of the necessity to integrate commercial and regulatory obligations.
• Desirable requirements:
• Ideally, a Level 6 advanced Financial Services qualification.
• Experience in interacting with Regulators.
• Background in working for the Regulator.

• Capable of managing a varied workload with a high degree of autonomy while also collaborating as part of a broader team.
• Able to work independently as well as within a team.
• A professional and credible demeanor with clients, founded on experience, qualifications, and knowledge.
• Location: This is a remote-working, field-based role.
• A full driving license is required.
• Ability to travel and occasionally stay overnight.
