Senior IT Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Lead the oversight and upkeep of macOS and Windows environments, ensuring peak performance, security, and scalability.

• Manage and configure Okta for efficient single sign-on (SSO) and multi-factor authentication (MFA).

• Employ Iru/Kandji for the deployment and security of all company Mac devices.

• Administer and support Google Workspace applications.

• Create and sustain advanced scripts and AWS Lambda functions to automate routine processes.

• Design and implement integrations among various platforms and tools.

• Establish and enforce security protocols to safeguard company data.

• Provide expert-level technical support to staff members.

• Lead IT projects from initiation to completion, including system upgrades and migrations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; advanced certifications are advantageous.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in IT administration, with at least 3 years in a senior or lead role, ideally within a startup environment.

• Comprehensive technical expertise in macOS software and hardware, with a demonstrated history of supporting macOS in enterprise settings.

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Intune, application deployment, and device management.

• High-level proficiency in administering Kandji, focusing on support and device policies, including integration with identity and access management solutions like Okta.

• Strong experience with cloud-based services, including Okta for identity management and Google Workspace for productivity and collaboration.

• Advanced scripting abilities in languages such as Bash, Python, Go, Powershell, and Terraform.

• Thorough understanding of Apple's Device Enrollment Program (DEP), Volume Purchasing Programs, and Apple Business Manager.

• Extensive experience in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting hardware and office infrastructure.

• Proven capability to work both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment, adapting to the evolving needs of a startup.

• Experience in user support, particularly in assisting both macOS and Windows operating systems within enterprise contexts.
