Senior IT Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Netherlands.

📋 Description

• Assist and mentor fellow software developers in the design and implementation of Emsere applications.

• Facilitate the testing and validation processes for Emsere applications.

• Offer guidance to both internal and external users regarding optimal solutions for operational issues related to the Emsere applications.

• Ensure thorough documentation of system designs, configurations, and operating procedures.

• Collaborate with third-party vendors, customers, and partners to integrate with the Emsere applications.

• Adhere to all relevant company procedures and guidelines, ensuring compliance with company policies, including approved software development and validation processes.

• Identify and mitigate security, compliance, and usability risks associated with Emsere applications.

• Ensure that scalability and growth requirements for the Emsere applications are fulfilled.

• Engage in company-wide process standardization and improvement initiatives.

• Travel a minimum of four times per year, including some international travel.

⛳️ Requirements

• A relevant bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

• Over 5 years of professional experience in the industry.

• Demonstrated experience as a full-stack lead developer with proficiency in at least one of the following technical stacks: Java, Python, or JavaScript.

• Familiarity with modern technology stacks and cloud architecture.

• Experience in designing and developing Open API, XML-RPC, REST, and other API frameworks.

• Proficiency with Amazon Web Services (EC2, S3, IAM, RDS).

• Experience with RDBMS technologies such as Postgres, MySQL, or Oracle.

• Knowledge of OAuth2, SAML, and OpenID authentication and authorization frameworks.

• Experience with search technologies like Elastic Search or Open Search engines.

• Familiarity with continuous integration tools and strategies.

• Experience with DVCS tools like GIT or Bitbucket.

• Proficiency in Atlassian products.

• Experience in ERP implementation and/or support for data migration and synchronization processes.

• Knowledge of validation, data integrity, and audit trail mechanisms in regulated environments.

• Familiarity with ICH-GCP, FDA 21CFR Part 11, EU-GDPR, HIPAA, and other regulatory frameworks.

• Understanding of ISO-9001, GAMP-5, and other quality frameworks.

• Proficient in English, both verbal and written.

• At least 5 years of experience in designing and developing Enterprise Java Frameworks and OSGI.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in developing enterprise portal applications.
