Senior IT Consultant – Active Directory, PKI & Security

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Conduct and assess technical evaluations of intricate Microsoft infrastructures (Active Directory, AD CS, PKI, Windows Server).

• Identify significant security threats in complex legacy and hybrid environments, and establish sustainable remediation strategies.

• Design, strategize, and execute challenging migration and security initiatives within Windows Server environments.

• Serve in a consultative capacity on client projects (with travel around 10–20%) while engaging deeply in technical tasks, such as leading workshops and providing decision support.

• Develop architectural designs and technical documentation for secure, scalable solutions.

• Enhance modern identity services with a growing emphasis on Microsoft Entra ID / Azure AD.

⛳️ Requirements

• Multiple years of practical experience with Active Directory, including extensive knowledge in AD security hardening, AD CS / PKI, and Windows Server management.

• Capability to work independently and assume responsibility for projects.

• Additional technical expertise, such as in failover clusters, PowerShell automation, auditing & security logging, or Entra ID / Azure AD.

• IT-related vocational training, a completed degree, relevant certifications (e.g., MCSE, MCSA, MCITP), or equivalent qualifications.

• Strong and organized communication skills in both German and English.
