This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Become a valued member of our collaborative team as a Senior Business Analyst, where you will bridge the gap between business and technology to develop innovative solutions throughout Thermo Fisher Scientific.
• In partnership with cross-functional teams, you will assess intricate business needs, convert requirements into executable solutions, and implement strategic initiatives aimed at enhancing our operations and customer experience.
• In this position, you will leverage your skills in data analysis, process optimization, and project management to deliver significant results that align with our mission of empowering customers to create a healthier, cleaner, and safer world.
• You will collaborate with stakeholders across all levels to pinpoint areas for improvement, devise comprehensive solutions, and ensure the successful execution of business-critical projects.
• An advanced degree with 6 years of experience, or a bachelor's degree with 8 years of experience in business analysis or a related field.
• Preferred fields of study include Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Analytics, or a similar discipline.
• Relevant professional certifications (such as PMP) are advantageous.
• Demonstrated expertise in gathering and documenting business requirements.
• Strong skills in SQL, data analysis, and business intelligence tools.
• Experience with Quality systems, preferably TrackWise/TrackWise Digital.
• Advanced understanding of Agile methodologies and project management practices.
• Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects concurrently.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Superior communication and presentation skills.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional, global teams.
• Solid knowledge of business process modeling and optimization techniques.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, PowerBI, and project management software.
• Experience with data warehousing and ETL processes is preferred.
• Ability to influence and foster consensus across various organizational levels.
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance and validation requirements.
• Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
• Capacity to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% as needed.
