Senior IT Architect, Java

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Your hands-on experience in microservices architecture will influence the architectural vision.

• Assess and enhance the architecture focusing on scalability, maintainability, and security.

• Provide technical knowledge in a dynamic setting with a variety of technologies.

• Aid in the continual improvement of work processes.

• Design user-centric interfaces while demonstrating proficiency in multiple web technologies.

• Enhance resource utilization through virtualization technologies.

• Streamline and improve the development process through containerization.

• Develop organized documentation for both current and future developers.

⛳️ Requirements

• Practical knowledge of microservices architecture.

• Strong grasp of Domain-Driven Design principles.

• Experience in an agile work setting with a diverse technology stack.

• Proficient in Java (11+), Spring, and Spring Boot.

• Skilled in additional web technologies (e.g., PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and their associated frameworks (Vue.js, Angular, React, ...).

• Shell programming and Bash scripting experience for innovative and efficient solutions.

• Familiarity with virtualization technologies (e.g., vSphere) for creating, starting, and stopping VMs.

• Proficient in Docker and Kubernetes.

• Understanding of architecture tools principles (e.g., arc42, UML).

• Nice to have: experience with Kotlin, PostgreSQL, OpenID Connect and OAuth, Keycloak IDM, Git, and architecture tools like ArchiMate, PlantUML, and Asciidoc.
