Senior IT Administrator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Oversee the comprehensive management of the IT infrastructure, including servers, clients, network, and cloud services.

• Provide support and enhance our Apple-focused environment (macOS, iOS), incorporating Mobile Device Management systems such as Jamf.

• Administer and optimize our cloud-based collaboration platforms, specifically Google Workspace.

• Manage and coordinate relationships with external IT service providers and software vendors.

• Serve as the liaison between IT and business units, translating requirements into effective solutions.

• Strategically procure hardware and software while managing budget considerations.

• Foster digital competencies across the organization through training and consulting initiatives.

• Offer proactive guidance on new tools, AI applications, and contemporary working methodologies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Several years of experience in a self-directed IT role with full accountability, preferably in an agile agency setting.

• Strong understanding of Apple environments, Mobile Device Management systems, and cloud infrastructures.

• Proven experience in managing vendors and stakeholders effectively.

• Methodical, solution-driven working approach with the ability to perform under pressure.

• A keen interest in AI tools and emerging technologies, coupled with a willingness to implement them actively.

• Excellent communication skills across all levels, from executive management to external service providers.

• Ability to thrive in a youthful, agile environment characterized by swift decision-making processes.

• Fluency in German at a native level is essential.
