Senior iOS Engineer, Media Foundations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design a highly modular and easily integrable iOS video player that allows other teams to develop features seamlessly while providing excellent performance for users.

• Collaborate with backend media infrastructure and CDN teams to enhance global delivery and performance.

• Engage cross-functionally with product, design, and other engineering teams to implement product and business strategies, creating innovative media products and features that our users will appreciate.

• Join a team of thoughtful, agile, and driven engineers. Establish and define standards that enhance developer workflows, suggest best practices, and support the coaching and mentoring of engineers on the team to advance their professional growth.

• Leverage AI-assisted development tools to speed up prototyping, system design, and coding, while exercising careful judgement to validate and take ownership of the final results.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related discipline, or equivalent technical expertise.

• Over 5 years of hands-on professional software development experience in creating user-facing iOS mobile native applications at scale, utilizing Swift.

• Strong organizational abilities, with the capability to prioritize tasks and deliver projects on time.

• Exceptional communication skills. You effectively collaborate with teams in a fully remote setting and can discuss complex topics with both technical and non-technical audiences.

• A proven history of leading projects that necessitate collaboration across teams and functions.

• An entrepreneurial mindset. You are self-motivated, innovative, and inclined to take action in dynamic environments. You enjoy building new solutions and excel in situations of uncertainty and even failure.
