This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.
β’ Design and develop new iOS features with a strong emphasis on usability, clarity, and providing value to real users.
β’ Construct and uphold a robust, scalable mobile architecture (including networking, data persistence, and state management) that facilitates rapid iteration and long-term maintainability.
β’ Collaborate closely with Product Managers and Designers to convert requirements into practical, well-defined technical solutions. Provide insights during planning to ensure features are feasible, maintainable, and aligned with user and business objectives.
β’ Guarantee high-quality releases through clean, readable, and thoroughly tested code. Engage in code reviews and contribute to shared standards focused on quality, testing, and maintainability.
β’ Take responsibility for the features you develop. Identify issues or gaps, suggest enhancements, and iterate based on feedback. You are comfortable navigating ambiguity and adapting as requirements change.
β’ Enhance app performance and reliability by diagnosing bottlenecks, addressing crashes, and bolstering overall stability and user experience.
β’ Over 5 years of professional software development experience, with a strong emphasis on iOS development. Proven track record of delivering production iOS applications from start to finish.
β’ Strong expertise in Swift and contemporary iOS development practices. Ability to create responsive, user-friendly interfaces with a focus on detail and performance.
β’ Experience with modern iOS UI patterns, including managing complex navigation, animations, and edge cases in real-world production applications.
β’ Regular daily use of AI coding assistants (Claude Code, Codex, OpenCode, or similar) for development, debugging, and problem-solving. We expect engineers to utilize these tools to expedite shipping and tackle complex challenges.
β’ Solid understanding of networking on iOS (REST/GraphQL), including authentication flows, caching strategies, error handling, and scenarios involving offline or unstable networks.
β’ Experience in designing maintainable architectures (e.g., MVVM, Redux-style state management, Clean Architecture, or similar) and enhancing existing codebases over time.
β’ Strong grasp of iOS performance and debugging tools (e.g., Instruments, crash reporting, profiling) along with the capability to diagnose issues effectively.
β’ Excellent communication skills in English. Comfortable working within a remote, cross-timezone team and collaborating asynchronously.
