Senior iOS Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Designing and developing high-performance, premium mobile applications for the Apple ecosystem.

• Guide the technical direction of our iOS initiatives, ensuring functional applications and seamless, native user experiences.

• Produce clean, high-quality Swift code to create complex features and engaging user interfaces using UIKit or SwiftUI.

• Identify and address performance bottlenecks, memory leaks, and UI issues to ensure a responsive user experience.

• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement pixel-perfect designs and work with Backend Engineers to define and integrate RESTful APIs.

• Lead code review processes, maintain high unit test coverage, and mentor junior developers.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in iOS development with a comprehensive understanding of the iOS SDK and Apple's design principles.

• Swift Expertise: Mastery of Swift and familiarity with asynchronous programming (Combine, Swift Concurrency/Async-Await).

• Persistence & Networking: Significant experience with local storage options (Core Data, Realm) and complex API integrations using URLSession or Alamofire.

• Commitment to Quality: Strong dedication to quality through unit testing (XCTest) and UI testing.

• Proficient in Workflow Tools: In-depth knowledge of Git, CocoaPods/Swift Package Manager, and project management tools like JIRA.

• Language Proficiency: Advanced English skills (fluent verbal and written communication).

• Nice-to-have Skills:

• Objective-C: Familiarity with legacy codebases in Objective-C.

• CI/CD for Mobile: Experience with automated build and deployment tools such as Fastlane, Bitrise, or Xcode Cloud.

• Modern UI: Practical experience transitioning from UIKit to SwiftUI in a production setting.

• Reactive Programming: Familiarity with RxSwift or other reactive frameworks.

• Product Mindset: Experience in an Agile/Scrum environment with a focus on user-centric product development.
