This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Qatar.
• Create advanced financial models to assess the commercial viability of film and television projects across various distribution avenues.
• These models will encompass production budgets, cost frameworks, financing structures, investor roles, distribution revenue channels across international markets, and scenarios for investor returns and capital recovery timelines.
• Revenue modeling will take into account diverse distribution methods such as theatrical releases, SVOD, AVOD, FAST, Pay TV, and global licensing.
• Utilize Parrot Analytics' worldwide dataset on audience demand and content valuation to guide revenue assumptions within financial models.
• Formulate systematic approaches to convert audience demand indicators and valuations into feasible commercial scenarios, benchmarking projects against similar titles across genres, markets, and platforms.
• Assess projects using structured scenario modeling that evaluates downside risks and capital exposure, break-even performance limits, and investor return scenarios under varying market conditions.
• Perform sensitivity analysis on critical variables, including budget alterations, distribution results, and changes in audience demand.
• Generate financial analyses utilized by funds, studios, and investors to assess content opportunities.
• Simplify intricate financial models into understandable insights, aiding decision-makers in grasping the economic ramifications of project budgets, distribution strategies, and market positioning.
• Assist in designing the financial modeling frameworks for evaluating film and television investments using Parrot Analytics’ data, aiming to create repeatable analytical tools that allow projects to be assessed with institutional investment rigor, fostering more structured decision-making throughout the industry.
• 5–10+ years of experience in positions that necessitate strong financial modeling and investment analysis in the following settings:
• Direct experience with film finance structures, production budgets, or distribution economics is essential.
• Advanced financial modeling - Proficient in building intricate Excel models from scratch, including scenario analysis, sensitivity modeling, and structured investment return frameworks.
• Investment analysis mindset - Strong capacity to assess opportunities through structured risk and return evaluation.
• Data-driven thinking - Comfortable incorporating external datasets and quantitative signals into financial predictions and commercial assumptions.
• Intellectual curiosity - A sincere interest in comprehending how film and television projects create economic value.
• Communication - Ability to convey complex financial analysis into clear insights for non-technical stakeholders. Proficiency in Arabic is preferred to serve regional clients.
