This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Reporting to the Internal Controls Lead, the Senior Internal Controls Analyst will play a crucial role in Devoted Health’s Internal Controls department, contributing to the advancement of the Internal Controls over Financial Reporting Program (ICFR) towards a stable state of maturity.
• This position entails managing all facets of internal control activities, including aiding in risk assessment, defining control scopes, testing, reporting results, and fostering collaboration and training.
• The role will also involve supporting the innovative integration of artificial intelligence (AI) into the ICFR program.
• Assist the ICFR Program Lead in executing all ICFR-related initiatives.
• Lead, conduct testing, and/or review control testing, which includes identifying and evaluating a broad spectrum of business risks.
• Build and sustain relationships with business owners and second & third line departments.
• Provide consultation and training to business partners regarding best practices and concepts related to controls.
• Contribute to enhancing the maturity of the ICFR Program.
• A Bachelor’s degree focused on healthcare, business, finance, accounting, or a related field.
• 3 to 5 years of comprehensive auditing and/or controls experience, such as external and internal auditing, ICFR evaluation in accordance with the NAIC's Model Audit Rule (MAR) and/or Sarbanes Oxley (SOX), operational and compliance risks, and controls, including past experience in a senior role.
• Professional certification in Accounting, Audit, or Insurance, for example, Certified Internal Auditor, Certified Fraud Examiner, Certified Public Accountant, Certified Management Accountant, Certified Information Systems Auditor, or Certified Healthcare Internal Audit Professional.
• Strong communication, data analytics, and reporting skills, with the capability to collaborate effectively across various business departments and levels of management.
• Excellent project management skills regarding personal schedules as well as projects/audits, including the ability to work effectively in a remote setting and independently for short durations.
