Senior Inside Account Executive – SLED

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.

📋 Description

• Oversee an average portfolio of approximately 100 customer accounts, managing around $16M in revenue responsibility, to ensure profitable growth across the business portfolio.

• Generate revenue by proactively identifying and exploiting programmatic and incremental opportunities throughout the entire account hierarchy (site-level, end-user, and enterprise-wide).

• Collaborate closely with Outside Developers to boost sales and guarantee program compliance at all customer locations.

• Utilize designated sales tools (such as Prioritized Insights, Tenfold, Salesforce (SFDC)) to prioritize actions, enhance efficiency, and document customer interactions and insights.

• Work in conjunction with category experts and customer support teams to implement account strategies and provide exceptional service to customers.

• Partner with the Revenue Management Team to assess opportunities and make informed pricing decisions based on account knowledge and potential future spending; ensure precise execution of BPIs in line with contract stipulations.

• Exhibit strong business acumen and sales expertise to identify incremental opportunities at both master and site levels, while staying informed about the competitive landscape.

• Cultivate a deep understanding of customer industry purchasing processes, which facilitates effective product selection guidance and standardization of SA.com product assortments.

• Spearhead the implementation and scaling of new and existing customer programs, fostering adoption and compliance to maximize value realization.

• Engage with the Customer Support Center (CSC) to proactively manage the customer experience and address maintenance or service-related inquiries.

• Establish and nurture strategic relationships with senior executive stakeholders within the customer base to enhance partnerships and drive sustainable growth.

• Demonstrated success in program management and/or business development, with a history of delivering measurable results.

• Capability to confidently engage and influence senior-level customer stakeholders, including executive decision-makers.

• Excellent presentation skills, capable of crafting and delivering compelling, data-driven narratives.

• Proficiency in consultative, solutions-oriented, and insight-driven selling, along with advanced negotiation and client management skills.

• Ability to establish strategic goals, develop actionable customer growth plans, and work collaboratively with cross-functional product category sales teams.

• Strong business, financial, operational, and technological acumen, facilitating informed decision-making and value-based selling.

• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret customer data, industry trends, and business insights to formulate tailored solutions aligned with the Staples value proposition.

• Self-driven and highly accountable, capable of working independently and effectively managing priorities with minimal supervision.
