Senior Infrastructure Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.

📋 Description

• Take charge of the design, deployment, and management of OpenStack and Kubernetes environments, ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and resilience for GPU workloads.

• Enhance infrastructure through infrastructure-as-code and GitOps practices, promoting automation in provisioning, deployment, and operational processes.

• Improve GPU workload scheduling utilizing Kubernetes and NVIDIA tools, and establish monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to maintain platform stability.

• Spearhead incident response efforts and foster continuous improvements in platform reliability.

• Uphold robust security measures across infrastructure and container layers, including RBAC, network policies, and tenant isolation.

• Collaborate closely with Platform, DevOps, AI, Product, and Support teams to ensure infrastructure capabilities meet customer and platform needs.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive hands-on experience managing OpenStack in production settings.

• Demonstrated capability in operating Kubernetes at scale—preferably in bare-metal or private cloud environments.

• Strong foundational knowledge of Linux, networking, and storage systems.

• Experience with infrastructure automation, CI/CD, and Git-based workflows.

• A strong sense of ownership—capable of working independently without extensive oversight and able to simplify and scale systems in a dynamic environment.

• Familiarity with integrating Kubernetes and OpenStack (Nice to Have).

• Exposure to GPU infrastructure, HPC, or large-scale compute environments (Nice to Have).

• Knowledge of advanced networking or cloud-native ecosystems (Nice to Have).

• Contributions to open-source projects (Nice to Have).
