Senior Infrastructure Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Leverage your expertise in Kubernetes and AWS to enhance the EKS lifecycle, ensuring multi-tenant isolation and regional consistency while maintaining the security, performance, and predictability of clusters as we scale.

• Identify opportunities to enhance reliability and reduce costs by pinpointing areas of waste, such as storage and compute resources.

• Advance the automation of our Elasticsearch cluster management system, focusing on shard management, data retention, indexing, and cross-cluster re-balancing.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in building and managing large-scale, cloud-native systems in roles such as SRE, DevOps, or infrastructure engineering.

• Extensive hands-on experience with Kubernetes in a production environment, including controllers, CRDs, Helm/Kustomize, autoscaling, and security contexts.

• Proficient in managing Infrastructure-as-Code at scale, particularly with Terraform.

• Strong programming skills in Java or Python, with the capability to read and extend code in other languages as required.

• Proven leadership skills, including mentoring colleagues, driving initiatives across teams, and influencing engineering culture.
