Senior Infrastructure Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota.

• Regional role in the United States for Howden, focused on Infrastructure Support in a rapidly expanding area.

• Offering assistance for local Cloud, Data Center, and network infrastructure.

• Collaborating within a global IT infrastructure team.

• Assisting the business units in their utilization of IT systems.

• Managing problem resolution for recurring incidents that impact business services.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven extensive experience as a cloud/infrastructure engineer or in comparable IT positions.

• Significant expertise in cloud technologies, particularly Microsoft Azure and M365.

• Extensive experience with multi-site and multi-forest Active Directory environments, group policies, and DNS.

• In-depth experience with common Microsoft technologies, including patch management, mobile device management, and monitoring systems.

• Comprehensive experience with Windows desktop systems, encompassing all levels of troubleshooting.

• Extensive background working with cloud, server, desktop, network, and telephony providers.

• Significant experience in data centers.

• Solid understanding of networking concepts, including Layer 2/3, dynamic routing, MPLS, and firewall management.

• Preferred experience with Cisco, Palo Alto firewalls, and CATO SD-WAN.

• Good knowledge of IT security practices and the implementation of tools for event logging and alerting.
