Senior Infrastructure Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Hong Kong.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, maintain, and enhance the infrastructure environment for the trading system.

• Oversee and optimize AWS infrastructure, including EC2, networking, security measures, and OpenSearch.

• Create and sustain automation for infrastructure and adopt Infrastructure as Code methodologies.

• Design, execute, and maintain CI/CD pipelines, integrating with GitLab and GitHub.

• Administer and optimize Linux systems, focusing on system tuning, network optimization, and low-latency adjustments.

• Assist in the deployment, operation, and performance management of microservices.

• Manage various JVM-based services with an emphasis on performance, stability, and resource optimization.

• Operate and enhance database platforms such as ClickHouse, DolphinDB, and PostgreSQL.

• Develop, implement, and oversee the observability stack (Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry) from the ground up to monitor system health, identify performance issues, and resolve production challenges.

• Participate in the on-call rotation and promptly address production incidents.

• Collaborate with development and platform teams to enhance system reliability, observability, and security.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong experience in Infrastructure Engineering, SRE, DevOps, Platform Engineering, or similar fields.

• Advanced skills in AWS management, encompassing:

• EC2

• Networking

• Security

• OpenSearch

• Practical experience with DolphinDB and/or PostgreSQL.

• Essential experience with ClickHouse.

• Professional expertise in CI/CD, including:

• Ansible

• AWS Artifactory

• Git-based CI/CD integration with GitLab and GitHub

• Strong proficiency in Linux is crucial, including:

• Linux system administration

• Low-latency tuning

• Network optimization

• System tuning

• Demonstrated capability to architect, install, and configure monitoring, alerting, and observability stacks from scratch, particularly with Prometheus, Grafana, and/or OpenTelemetry.

• Practical experience in managing microservices, particularly with multiple JVM-based services.

• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code practices.

• Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation and support production environments.
