Senior Hypervisor Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Czechia.

📋 Description

• Enhance input/output processes for simulated disk and network devices.

• Integrate the hypervisor with additional platform services and storage solutions for user data.

• Effectively allocate resources among virtual machines.

• Enhance support for guest systems.

• Propel the forefront of open-source virtualization.

• Ensure low-level security for the hypervisor and emulator.

• Offer general assistance, resolve bugs, and oversee the upstream.

• Work collaboratively with team members and stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of professional experience in software engineering.

• Proficient in the C programming language.

• More than 3 years of experience working with Linux.

• At least 3 years of engineering experience with QEMU/KVM.

• General knowledge of x86-compatible systems (including virtual memory, interrupts, and privilege rings).

• Experience in writing general system code in user mode for Linux, encompassing debugging, analysis, and optimization tools.
