Senior HubSpot Platform Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of and enhance a tailored HubSpot environment.

• Set up and oversee Custom Objects, Association Labels, Pipelines, and Properties within a sophisticated, multi-object data model.

• Create and manage intricate workflows, including Custom Code Actions (JavaScript), cross-object property synchronization, and multi-level approval chains.

• Design and maintain custom-built React-based UI Extensions (such as CPQ tools, deal configuration, and link cards) deployed through HubSpot Serverless Functions.

• Develop and sustain an external Partner Portal based on HubSpot CMS, featuring membership logic, visibility rules, and HubDB-driven content.

• Assist and expand API integrations with external systems (ERP, LMS, support tools, AI services) utilizing Operations Hub and custom code.

• Keep technical documentation up to date for configurations, custom code, and integrations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Several years of professional experience immersed in the HubSpot ecosystem.

• Extensive experience with HubSpot CRM configuration (Custom Objects, Associations, Workflows, Properties).

• Expertise in HubSpot CMS development (HubL, JavaScript, CSS, Custom Modules, HubDB).

• Strong skills in React.js (for HubSpot UI Extensions / CRM Extensions).

• Familiarity with HubSpot Serverless Functions and the HubSpot API (v3/v4).

• Proficient in JavaScript across various applications (Custom Code Actions, frontend, integrations).

• Experience with API integrations and Operations Hub.

• Proficiency in Git-based development workflows.

• Understanding of CPQ processes, approval logic, and quote generation.

• Fluent in English.

• Nice to Have: Proficiency in German.

• Experience with AI integrations (OpenAI API, automated enrichment).

• HubSpot certifications (Solutions Architect, CMS Developer, or similar).

• Experience integrating HubSpot with legacy ERP/CRM systems.
