This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Configure, test, and implement Workday business processes from start to finish, encompassing conditional rules, routing, notifications, and approval workflows.
• Assess and enhance Workday and other People Systems by streamlining, automating, and optimizing configurations.
• Create and improve self-service workflows, forms, and notifications tailored for employees, managers, and HR personnel.
• Oversee and audit Workday security groups, as well as domain and business process security policies, ensuring role-based access is maintained.
• Develop and execute test scripts for configurations, tenant updates, and biannual Workday releases; manage regression testing and facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Create and manage custom reports, calculated fields, and dashboards for HR and business leaders.
• Collaborate with IT and implementation partners on EIBs, Core Connectors, and third-party integrations, addressing data-related issues.
• Keep configuration documentation and job aids up to date; provide training to HR team members and people managers.
• Work in partnership with HR Ops, HR Business Partners, Payroll, IT, and Legal to ensure compliant and scalable people processes.
• Role responsibilities will adapt as Oura and its Workday environment evolve.
• Over 5 years of hands-on experience in Workday HCM administration/configuration, including business process frameworks, calculated fields, and conditional rules.
• Proven ability to independently configure, test, and implement changes across Workday environments (sandbox/preview/production) while adhering to established change management practices.
• Strong grasp of the Workday security model (security groups, domain/business process policies) and proficiency in auditing and remedying access issues.
• Experience in supporting Workday releases, including regression testing and coordinating UAT with relevant business stakeholders.
• Exceptional analytical and troubleshooting capabilities, with a talent for translating vague business requests into clear, well-documented system configurations.
• A strong emphasis on enhancing the end-user experience.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, capable of conveying technical configurations in simple terms for non-technical stakeholders.
• Comfortable working independently in a dynamic and evolving HRIS landscape.
• Workday Pro certification(s) (HCM, Core Compensation, Absence, Reporting, or similar) is a plus.
• Familiarity with Workday Studio, EIBs, or other integration tools is advantageous.
• Experience in configuring Workday reporting or Workday Prism is a plus.
• Background in supporting a global or multi-country Workday environment is beneficial.
• Experience with a greenfield Workday implementation or significant HRIS migration is a plus.
