This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Nebraska.
• Designs, develops, tests, maintains, and improves business processes within the HRIS in accordance with company policies and guidelines.
• Engages in bi-annual Workday releases to pinpoint opportunities for enhancing our environment in line with the HR Technology roadmap.
• Acts as a subject matter expert for Workday Payroll, Absence, and Time Tracking.
• Coordinates or supports the requirements of various teams within and beyond the HR department that affect HR systems.
• Continuously expands technical skills and knowledge of industry trends by participating in Workday Community and other forums.
• Undertakes special projects or related tasks as assigned or as circumstances require.
• Provides technical support for Workday U.S. Payroll, focusing on resolving complex issues and offering expert advice to the payroll team.
• Takes responsibility for configuring and maintaining Workday U.S. Payroll, Absence, and Time Tracking modules, ensuring accurate and efficient payroll data processing with an emphasis on accuracy, efficiency, and compliance.
• Promotes seamless collaboration with cross-functional teams, including Compensation and Benefits, to gather requirements, provide advanced technical solutions, and lead system enhancement deliveries.
• Organizes and facilitates meetings with stakeholders, contributing insights and fostering a cooperative work environment.
• Develops documentation for processes, configurations, and issue resolutions, ensuring that comprehensive records are easily accessible.
• Demonstrates effective communication skills when interacting with end-users, vendors, and team members, providing clear and concise technical guidance.
• Diagnoses system issues, analyzes root causes, and implements solutions.
• In collaboration with HR teams, completes all necessary unit testing and relevant documentation before implementation related to all business processes, updates, upgrades, and project work.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5 or more years of experience with HRIS Workday.
• Previous role supporting Workday Payroll, Absence, and Time Tracking (PATT).
• Experience with Workday Reporting and Security.
• Proficiency in MS Office Applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Knowledge of Business Workflow and System Configuration.
• Familiarity with software implementation and development.
• Understanding of HRIS functional areas.
• Up to 15 days of vacation time.
