This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Gather, cleanse, and analyze extensive healthcare datasets utilizing statistical and data analysis methods, including medical claims/encounter data, pharmacy data, and patient registries.

• Perform both descriptive and inferential statistical analyses to evaluate healthcare utilization trends, treatment efficacy, cost-effectiveness, and patient outcomes.

• Work collaboratively with both internal teams and external clients to design and implement HEOR studies, ensuring adherence to research objectives and regulatory standards.

• Produce detailed reports, presentations, and visualizations to guarantee the quality of deliverables and communicate findings effectively to stakeholders.

• Foster business growth by building robust client relationships.

• Keep updated on emerging trends, methodologies, and best practices in HEOR and healthcare data analytics, contributing to ongoing improvement efforts within the organization.

• Comply with data privacy and regulatory standards, ensuring the ethical and secure management of sensitive healthcare data.


⛳️ Requirements

• Educational background in statistics, mathematics, epidemiology, health economics, public health, or a related discipline.

• An advanced degree (e.g., Master’s or PhD) in quantitative fields such as Health Economics, statistics, Operational Research, Mathematics, data science, biostatistics, or epidemiology is preferred.

• Over 4 years of practical experience in healthcare data analysis, ideally within HEOR, medical devices, pharmaceuticals, or biotechnology.

• Expertise in statistical software such as SAS, R, STATA, or Python, with a solid grasp of data manipulation, regression analysis, and predictive modeling techniques.

• Knowledge of healthcare databases and coding systems (e.g., ICD, CPT, HCPCS). Familiarity with Medicare and Medicaid data is a plus.

• Strong analytical abilities, with the capacity to interpret intricate healthcare data and generate actionable insights.
