Senior Healthcare Fraud Investigator / OSINT Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Perform intricate OSINT research on individuals, healthcare providers, businesses, related entities, assets, ownership frameworks, and their interconnected networks.

• Evaluate and interpret online presence, business connections, professional affiliations, financial indicators, and other publicly accessible data pertinent to investigative goals.

• Execute link, relationship, and network analysis to uncover connections among subjects, providers, businesses, beneficiaries, and related entities.

• Utilize expertise in healthcare fraud to generate investigative leads involving various fraudulent activities.

• Convert OSINT findings into practical investigative insights in the realm of healthcare fraud.

• Keep track of publicly available information relevant to ongoing and proactive investigations.

• Produce well-sourced investigative summaries, intelligence products, link analyses, and quick-response reports.

• Record research sources, methodologies, limitations, and levels of analytical confidence.

• Assist in authorized sensitive operational tasks, including limited OSINT support pertaining to undercover or covert investigations.


⛳️ Requirements

• At least five years of specialized experience in supporting civil or criminal healthcare fraud investigations.

• A minimum of ten years of experience offering OSINT or investigative assistance to federal government agencies, the Intelligence Community, or law enforcement bodies.

• Proven experience in conducting advanced OSINT investigations and intelligence assessments.

• Experience in supporting sensitive or complex federal inquiries.

• Solid understanding of Medicare and Medicaid programs.

• Awareness of prevalent and emerging healthcare fraud schemes across various provider types.

• Experience in aiding civil, criminal, administrative, or parallel investigative proceedings.

• Knowledge of federal investigative standards, evidentiary considerations, documentation practices, and reporting obligations.

• Capability to generate defensible, well-sourced, and analytically robust investigative products.

• Proven discretion, sound professional judgment, and a security-aware operational stance.
