This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• The Senior Analyst, Healthcare Data will act as a business consultant within the organization, delivering reports and analyses to enhance Lucet’s clinical and operational performance.
• Furthermore, the analyst will be tasked with translating evaluation inquiries into analytic frameworks, creating analytic datasets, generating relevant data summaries, and performing valid data comparisons alongside statistical tests.
• Spearhead reporting and analytics projects that facilitate product innovation, program assessment, and population health initiatives.
• Collaborate with clinical, account management, and strategy teams to pinpoint target populations, establish intervention cohorts, and formulate significant performance metrics.
• Execute claims and utilization analyses to discern cost drivers, identify savings prospects, and uncover actionable trends across member, provider, and demographic segments.
• Simulate cost-savings scenarios, assess practice patterns, and propose recommendations aimed at enhancing cost of care and financial outcomes for clients.
• Evaluate the financial implications of contracts, negotiations, RFPs/RFIs, and other strategic pursuits to support informed decision-making.
• Provide timely analyses and reporting that assist management and operational teams in achieving business goals, while ensuring recommendations are data-driven.
• Bachelor’s Degree
• Over 5 years of experience in a similar capacity within a healthcare payer or provider organization
• Knowledgeable in common statistical methods, including but not limited to regression, propensity matching, and analysis of variance
• Proficiency in database query languages such as SQL or SAS
• Additional experience with software for data analysis, extraction, and manipulation (e.g., Python, R), data visualization (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI), and analytic automation (e.g., scripting, macros)
• Familiarity with enterprise data warehouses and commercial/Medicare/Medicaid claims data
• Capability to read, analyze, and interpret technical materials and financial data
• Must be able to present information effectively in small group settings with both internal and external customers
• Competence in performing complex arithmetic and intermediate algebra for spreadsheet and report setup
• Ability to generate reports using advanced graphical skills that can be easily understood by clients
• Must successfully pass a background check upon hire and throughout employment, which includes a criminal felony & misdemeanor search, SSN validation/trace search (LEIE), education report (highest degree obtained), civil upper and lower search, 7-year employment report, federal criminal search, statewide criminal search, widescreen plus national criminal search, healthcare sanctions-state med (SAM), national sex offender registry, prohibited parties (OFAC) (terrorist watchlist), and a 10-Panel Drug Screen.
