Senior Growth Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Develop, launch, and refine experiments across our e-commerce platform and mobile/web application to enhance subscription attach rates, retention, and other growth metrics.

• Integrate new features and user interface flows into our Shopify + Hydrogen e-commerce site and our React Native application, maintaining a high standard for quality and user experience.

• Assist in assessing, implementing, and configuring the A/B testing and experimentation tools adopted by the Growth Pod.

• Work closely with product managers, designers, and growth-oriented cross-functional partners to swiftly transition from hypothesis to live testing.

• Produce high-quality, reusable, and maintainable code, and contribute to a thorough testing suite to ensure stability as we accelerate our shipping pace.

• Engage in code reviews and provide constructive, thoughtful feedback to enhance the team's output.

• Aid in establishing processes for monitoring performance and tracking the results and health metrics of experiments.

⛳️ Requirements

• Significant experience (5+ years) with Typescript and React, along with substantial production work in React Native and/or a contemporary e-commerce frontend stack. Experience with Shopify, particularly with Hydrogen, is highly desirable.

• A genuine passion for growth engineering. You seek to understand the reasons behind user conversions (or lack thereof) and are invested in the business outcomes generated by your code.

• Familiarity with A/B testing principles and a commitment to statistical rigor. You can distinguish between a genuine result and a mere fluke.

• Strong grasp of frontend architecture and design patterns, maintaining high standards for code quality and user experience.

• Exceptional cross-functional communication skills. You collaborate seamlessly with Product, Design, and Data teams and are comfortable operating autonomously within a small, agile team.
