This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take charge of driving organic traffic growth for BloomNation’s premium florist websites, with this as your primary KPI.
• Additionally, manage the organic traffic growth for the BloomNation marketplace.
• Concentrate on attracting qualified organic traffic that yields genuine business results rather than superficial metrics.
• Identify, prioritize, and implement high-impact SEO/AEO/GEO strategies.
• Present strategies, clarify trade-offs, and execute them directly.
• Conduct a comprehensive technical and strategic SEO audit of the BloomNation marketplace.
• Develop and maintain a prioritized roadmap for technical SEO/AEO/GEO enhancements.
• Write production code primarily in PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Create pull requests and deploy improvements directly.
• Enhance crawlability, indexation, site architecture, internal linking, structured data, and page performance.
• Establish scalable SEO systems across thousands of florist websites.
• Design and develop internal and customer-facing SEO/AEO/GEO tools for florists.
• Create florist-specific tools that provide local business owners with capabilities typically requiring paid SEO platforms, consultants, or agencies.
• Transform SEO insights into scalable product features.
• Identify chances to productize repeatable SEO/AEO/GEO successes across the platform.
• Build and maintain tracking infrastructure utilizing Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and relevant tools.
• Specify what should be tracked, the methods of tracking, and how success will be evaluated.
• Develop funnels and reports that make organic performance transparent and actionable.
• Ensure tracking is precise, dependable, and beneficial for informed decision-making.
• Collaborate with Google Search Console, Google Business Profile, Bing Webmaster Tools, Apple Business, and other search/discovery platforms.
• Ensure our systems can monitor, update, and respond to changes across key search platforms.
• Utilize tools like Ahrefs, Semrush, and internal data to inform strategy and execution.
• Must reside in the United States.
• Availability to work full-time, 40 hours per week.
• Visa sponsorship is not available.
• Proven technical SEO experience with a history of enhancing organic traffic.
• Proficient in writing and deploying production code.
• Comfortable working with PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Strong comprehension of how search engines crawl, index, and rank websites.
• Experience with site architecture, internal linking, structured data, and performance optimization.
• Familiarity with Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager.
• Capability to define tracking requirements and create valuable funnels/reports.
• Strong judgment regarding prioritization, impact, and effort.
• Ability to work independently: identify issues, develop hypotheses, present plans, execute, and iterate.
• A product-focused mindset towards SEO/AEO/GEO and growth.
• Your contributions will directly assist thousands of local florists in expanding their businesses.
• You will create systems and tools rather than merely following SEO checklists.
• You will tackle a unique SEO/AEO/GEO challenge: scaling organic growth across a marketplace and a vast network of premium local business websites.
